MayoLube SMS Exporter reads SMS/MMS data only on the Android device where it is opened, creates a ZIP for the selected conversation, and uploads that ZIP to the private sms.mayolube.com backup endpoint.

Data Handling

  1. The app requests SMS access only so you can export a conversation you choose.
  2. The app requests contacts access only to show readable conversation names where Android allows it.
  3. The app stores the created ZIP in its local cache before upload.
  4. Uploaded ZIP files are stored in private server storage and are not listed publicly.
  5. The app does not send texts, receive texts in the background, write to the SMS database, or ask to become your default SMS app.
